In 1978, a group of friends who shared a passion for skiing and travel, formed Club St. Bernard. Over the years, our club has grown to include an average membership of around 100 members: couples, singles, and families. Our travel adventures typically are based on the Texas Ski Council travel calendar, but we also run our own club trips, as well. While most of ski, we do have a few snowboarders, and a lot of non-skiers who just enjoy the beauty of the mountains and always find alternative activities to pursue on ski trips. Not all of our trips are ski trips… we have trekked to exotic locales like the Galapagos Islands, Machu Picchu, Egypt, South Africa, Australia, and more! While we don’t actually have a St. Bernard dog, we do claim Max, a member’s grand-dog, as our un-official mascot! If you, too, have a passion for snow sports and/or travel, we’d love to meet you!
Summer Parties! June 30, July 14
Here are the dates and times of two fabulous summer events! And thanks, in advance, to our lovely hosts who allow us to enjoy their facilities. These are by RSVP and members and “known persons” only, so be sure and check your email in May, and RSVP if you want to attend. The RSVP instructions are on your email-attached flyers:
Pool Party: June 30, at 6:00 PM. Our hosts will cook burgers and hotdogs, and attendees will bring sides or desserts and favorite beverage.
Wine Party: July 14, at 6:00 PM. Bring a bottle of your favorite wine to share, and an appetizer to share. Again, you must RSVP: you have received instructions on the flyer that was emailed to you.
2018 Trip “Tails”!
Tails (er…”tales”) about our most recent, in this case 2018, trips are always fun to read, and a good way to learn what to expect when you travel with Club St. Bernard.
Members and Friends: Our Pawprints Newsletter for June and July appears in a combined “Summer” issue, as always, and the one you’ll get when you click on the Menu item at the top of this website homepage!
