In 1978, a group of friends who shared a passion for skiing and travel, formed Club St. Bernard. Over the years, our club has grown to include an average membership of around 100 members: couples, singles, and families. Our travel adventures typically are based on the Texas Ski Council travel calendar, but we also run our own club trips, as well. While most of ski, we do have a few snowboarders, and a lot of non-skiers who just enjoy the beauty of the mountains and always find alternative activities to pursue on ski trips. Not all of our trips are ski trips… we have trekked to exotic locales like the Galapagos Islands, Machu Picchu, Egypt, South Africa, Australia, and more! While we don’t actually have a St. Bernard dog, we do claim Max, a member’s grand-dog, as our un-official mascot! If you, too, have a passion for snow sports and/or travel, we’d love to meet you!
Next General Meeting is Wednesday, November 20, 2019
Sun ‘N Ski will be the presenters! We meet at the Longhorn Cafe, 17625 Blanco Rd., in the Party Room. The meeting starts at 7:00 PM, but come early to order food and visit! There’s always an interesting program, so come on over! Learn about the upcoming ski and/or travel trips and enjoy the program.
Annual Holiday Party! Saturday, Dec. 7, at a member’s home
Our annual Holiday party will be held at a member’s home at 6PM on Saturday, Dec. 7. Watch for your invitation by email, or check out Page 2 of November’s issue of Pawprints. You must RSVP for address and gate instructions, and to coordinate your food contribution with hosts. Info is in Pawprints.
