Winter Shoot-out
Telluride, CO Feb. 2-9, 2008

Fall has come the high country.  Temperatures in the mornings are in the thirty's.  The air is crisp and soon all the leaves will have changed to the gold and red of autumn and fallen from the aspens.  Speaking of soon, you have to make a decision soon on whether you are going to Telluride skiing with the club.  The last day to get involved is October 19th.  After that, we have to let the unsold airline seats and lodging go to avoid penalties.  We want you there, you want to be there, so what's holding you back?  The price is only $1,055 for air, ground and lodging.  It even includes a couple of meals and a lot of camaraderie.  The trip is selling well so it is time to make that decision. 

With 1,700 acres of skiing, over 25 feet of snow in an average year, and 3,530 feet of vertical on the face of the mountain, you know you're going to have a good time during daylight hours.  When the skiing stops, head back to the on-the-mountain, ski in/ski out lodging, mix a drink and head for the outdoor hot tub or heated outdoor swimming pool.  Then, shower and get ready for dinner.  Your choice, on the mountain in the Mountain Village steps from the condo or ride the free gondola down to town and enjoy the lights of town as you descend and ascend after a fabulous meal at one of the 50 bars and restaurants.

So, what's not to like?  All that's holding you back is your inability to make a commitment.  Hey, was that a guy that just said the "C" word?  Yep, time to commit.  

$800 deposit due by October 19th, $255 in November and lift ticket payment in December and you are set to go. 

You can also pay the entire thing now to save writing more checks.  Don't tell us that we are not accommodating.  MAKE THAT COMMITMENT TODAY!
